Shrimp cakes


5 servings

500 grams  large fresh black tiger shrimps
300 grams  filet white fish
200 grams  pork lard
½ tablespoon ground white pepper
½ tablespoon table salt
Bread crumbs for frying
Oil for frying

Ingredients of sauce:

¼  cup  white sugar
¼ cup  vinegar
½ tablespoon table salt
1   chopped, unseeded yellow chilli
1   salted plum, de-seeded chopped


1. Mince the filet fish and cool, De-vein and peel the black tiger shrimps, and mince. Combine the lard, shrimps, and fish the add white pepper, salt for taste.
2. Shape into round, flat patties and coat with bread crumbs.
3. Fry the patties in hot oil until golden on both sides, drain the oil and dip in to the sauce to eat.

Instructions to make sauce:

Combine the sugar and vinegar, bring to boil. Once the sugar is melted, remove from heat, add the yellow chilli and salted plum.
