Steamed Toothfish Soy Ginger


  • One ginger cut in thin halves
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp red wine
  • 6-9 oz Tooth Fish
  • 1 big banana leaf to cover up the fish
  • 1 chopped green onions
  • 3 tsp sesame oil


1. Place Tooth fish portion in the steamer
2. Place chopped ginger on top of the fish
3. Cover the fish with banana leaf
4. Let it steam for 10 minutes until fully cooked.


1- Sauté green onions, sesame oil, and wine to make into sauce. You can sauté onions if you like.

Take fish out of steamer with leave on the bottom and cover with sauce.
